Today women make up 14.6% of the U.S. military, but not all positions are open for women. Many of the postions that are open include working in the medical field, flying jets/helicopters, and working with military police patrol. Even though 90% of the military occupations are open to women what about the other 10%? There have been advancements to raise the amount of power a women can have in the military and I hope in the near future that the number of women in combat will rise.
